My name is Geoff Considine. I have worked in quantitative finance (mainly in portfolio management, trading analytics and fintech) and related statistical modeling for more than 20 years. Prior to that I was a research scientist at NASA, working on statistical analysis relating to climate change.
I have written many articles and white papers on quantitative portfolio analysis, investing, personal finance, and related themes. This site provides references and links to my work from the past, as well as providing a platform for sharing my current thinking on a range of topics relating to finance and economics.
My blog on this site is about general financial and economic topics. My posts on Seeking Alpha focus on investment analysis. I post to this blog infrequently but publish regularly at Seeking Alpha .
Feel free to contact me if you are looking for someone who can help your organization build out quantitative models and dashboards, write whitepapers or articles communicating about statistics or quantitative methods, or implement quantitative tools. I am also available to assist in product development, including writing functional requirements for quantitative software and working with development teams on implementation and testing.
